Day 359 - Getting last things sorted

Dear Simba,

Your daddy was on a mission today to get the last bits prepared for your baby sister’s arrival. He installed the car seat, set up her monitor devices, and tackled a few other tasks—all of which took longer than we expected!

Afterwards, we stopped by one of your dad’s work friends for some Christmas snacks before heading to the shops. Later in the evening, he hosted a dinner for his friends. It’s been quite the whirlwind, and I found myself wishing we could spend a little more time together just the two of us.
